I downloaded Calibre and couldn't get it to work...

So unfortunatly I decided to delete Calibre and try again..

I say unfortunatly because I've since learned you can't just delete folders with programs you must uninstall them.

Now everytime I try to download calibre I get a error message saying

'newer version already installed'

I can't do a restore to an earlier date [no backup for some reason]

So can anyone tell me how to get around this problem ?
