I rented a motorbike yesterday (Aprilia 850 mana ... the one with the automatic transmission) and managed to crash it.
Actually, I un-gently laid it on it's side, painting a nice straight line on the pavement with bike-paint and skin ...
I'm okay (sort of, chest hurts, must be upset ribs, and a medium sized road rash on my left elbow), but I'm afraid of the money this is going to cost me, since even with insurance there's a 2,5K deductible.
Oh well. It was a beautiful day, a beautiful bike, such an amazing feeling, the power, the smoothness ... here's a pic of our happier times together
