Folders found on SD Card

My external sd card has acquired a couple of folders and I would like to know what they are. The first is KOBOPEGASUS the 2nd is burstlyImageCashe
The 1st one seems to house a number of Google files and a couple of empty subfolders, my guess is that it is alright but where did it come from?

The second is more worrisome as my Kobo made reference to a virus threat when my wife was using it, but a run through with my Avast Virus program did not show a threat. It seems it might be an advertisement gizmo placed there when I set up GMail and a Google account.

Any ideas?
