Just a reminder that there's just one more day to use this; thanks OP for posting.

The 40% off Hidden Gems promo is no longer active, but Carina are now doing 20% off new*/upcoming releases and 20% off non-primarily-romantic Mystery. I'm glad I didn't dip too much into that latter category for cart-filler earlier because I see myself making a return trip if the samples read well.

* This new release has a nice cover image, but that "Viking"-era woman is totally wearing a dress style that didn't even exist until the Italian Renaissance some 4 centuries later minimum.

It is very sad when I apparently know more about these things from casual SCA-perusal than a specialty faux-historical costuming cover designer for faux-historical-based fiction novels whose job it presumably is.

Oh well, maybe it's secretly another one of those time-travels and Wilda's Venetian courtesan-palazzo-with-household was swept up by a twister to land on top of a wicked völva who was squashed flat so that Wilda could take up her magical silver-rosemaled chopines and follow the muddy dirt road on her way to off Einar's wizard sei∂r brother.
