Didn't someone else have a problem like that a while back - can't remember if there was a fix or not.

Also have you tried recalibrating? If that doesn't help, is there a cable connection that has worked loose?

My experience of Wacom digitiser tablets is that they either work or not. If they don't then it is usually a cable connection or a problem with the power supply. Since yours partly works I would suspect the cable. There is the very remote chance that part of the control chip has died, but then again they usually die completely - we've only had one instance of that which Wacom fixed for our client.
