Easier Wireless password entry
Unfortunately I have a 63 character randomly generated password, and on top of that my SSID is hidden, and I have my router use a list of acceptable MAC addresses.
First time logging on was painful typing in 63 character meaningless string. It (WiFi) didn't connect.
So I disabled Access Control on the wireless router and tried to connect again. This time it connected.
I assumed then that the Kobo Touch reader would save or remember this connection, and re-enabled Access Control on the router. The KT failed to connect.
I did a rescan for available wireless networks, but the KT had forgotten the hidden networks SSID AND the password.
It would be nice if the Wireless Setup allowed loading of password strings (copy paste) from say a txt file on an sdhc card, or via USB.
Also the Kobo desktop software is rather limited. Sure it installs new firmware and selects language, but it does nothing else when it comes to setting up the KT via the PC. That could be improved substantially. Including setting up the KT WiFi via the Kobo Desktop program.
To sum up it was easier to set up wifi for my nokia mid-range phone with my not really that stringent security settings.
Other than that thus far I have no regrets for choosing KT over other eReaders.
Thank you for considering my wish list.
