I'm actually amazed at the number of people that do RTFM. Given that calibre gets several hundred thousand new installs a month and I get only about ~1000 questions that were already answered in the manual every month, that implies that quite a lot of people are actually finding solutions for themselves. Restores my faith in humanity a little.
Of course, since this feature was implemented relatively late in calibre's history, long time users like you are unlikely to be aware of it.
