I often read PDFs in 2- or 3-columns mode on a 602. I suppress the margins with BRISS.
I find it pretty readable, except for the figures, because it often requires to quit the multiple columns mode (it should be better on a 902)

1-column mode is sometime difficult to read on a 602 in case of long lines. But again, it should be better on a 902.
