Compared to other ereaders all of the Sony models are better integrated with calibre. Collections, covers and series just work better out of the box.

My PRS-X50 (950) reader has both Wifi and a Browser. Additionally with PRS+ I am able to download books from calibre's content server. That said, I rarely use it and would not miss it if it died tomorrow.

I agree this is a great combination. Add to that calibre integration, which users of Sony devices take for granted and for reading, other brand readers will have a hard time keeping pace.
I think the T-1 is going to be about the same price and if I was in the market I would buy a T-1. For me two main reasons come to mind. 1. I like to control my environment by customizing things. 2. I have access to an elibrary with about 12000 books and being able to wirelessly down load from this library straight to my reader would be a very nice plus.
Either way the OP can't go wrong getting a PRS-650 or PRS-T1.
