I'm not blaming you, of course. I appreciate your help. But don't you think they might have told us about the change?
It's starting up OK now, after I did another reset. But now I don't seem to be able to "side-load" some of the apps I had installed previously. Was that also part of the "upgrade"? For example, Astro file mgr, Overdrive (so I can borrow books from the library), Aldiko (so I can read ebooks I had bought but couldn't read because the Vox isn't supported by Adobe). I had a bunch of apps backed up on my desktop computer, but when I copied them back to my Vox, I wasn't able to install them. Is Kobo deliberately trying to prevent people from installing apps that they haven't approved?
Apart from that, there's just the general aggravation and all the time wasted farting around, which shouldn't be necessary.
