When I wrote it I wasn't aiming for an age group. The cover artist's daughter read it, and she was under 15 then. I'm not sure about an 8-year-old. There's no gore, little violence, and no sex, though Lisa does have to, um, open her blouse to save her sister. (It's to lure in a bad guy.) If that would be trouble, I understand. If not, carry on.
