I'm in the US and I simply can't agree with that at all. Except for the rare occurrence, I find my ebooks to almost
always be cheaper than their current physical counterparts.
EDIT: Or do you mean recently released ebooks (only currently available physically in hardcover) are typically more expensive than a paperback book? I guess I could agree with that, but wouldn't really understand the significance of it.
