I have had the double tap issue ever since I bought my kobo touch in June. And it is still happening with the latest firmware.

I will try your suggestion of setting the refresh to 5 and see if it makes any difference. Like yours, mine is currently set to 6.

I have read the thread on the new firmware, not sure what why thee double page turn is getting so much press in that thread - it has been around long before the latest firmware release.
