I was going to make a Sony joke but decided to pass because as long as people are reading it really doesn't matter what device they use.
Actually, he knew immediately that it was some type of eBook reader. I'd only had it for one day so I was still getting familiar with the workings. He played with it a bit, we chatted about it's capabilities and battery life.
