I upgraded from the 650 to the T1. Like many, I never thought that I would need wifi on my ereader. However, now that I have it, I can't live without it. It just makes things easier. I use Calibre and transfer books via wifi with the content server. Other than wifi, the reader wifi is just a better e-ink reader than the 650 in my opinion. The screen has better contrast, the additional fonts are great, and the battery life is much better (I have strange battery issues in standby with my 650). Personally, I don't see the point in getting a 650 over a T1.
