I suppose stranger things have happened...
My wife, who is in the other room watching The View on TV, just informed me that Whoopi Goldberg was given the first ever brand new Kindle reader, the "Kindle 3D". I asked her if she had misheard, were they speaking of a Kindle 3G, or a 3G model of the Kindle Fire, and she said, "No, they said Kindle 3D."

This seems too fantastic to believe, and I have no idea why an ereader should need 3D, but the technology does exist, and stranger things have happened. Has anyone else heard anything about a new Kindle 3D?
