I used to use a book reader called "uBook" on my Windows Mobile devices (iPaq, etc) for the reason that it had an excellent, and highly customisable, auto-scroll mode, which was very easy to adjust to your reading speed. You'd just tap the screen to start it scrolling, and tap it again to stop it.
