montsnmags, I must say, that "thong" has a unique connotation in the States that represents a thin garment that separates the merely glandicious from the obviously (and criminally penalizable) pornographical.
But, oddly enough, the term "flipflop" separates the electable from the positively pornographical criminalitatious.
That is why we have elections!
To separate the flipflops from the dollarthongs!
The US may have an imperfect election system, but we always find a way to mozzle through it!
