Whee! Now also become available to Canadians (and presumably elsewhere).

And the 2011 speech has been added as well @ Amazon (available to Canadians and in the UK).

Suggested title update that will fit:

Free (Kindle) The Queen's Christmas Speeches (1952-2010) + 2011 [Royal Proclamations]

And just so you know, the Queen actually writes these things herself*.

Here's a nifty BBC article about the Kindle e-book speech release with a little history of the royal Xmas message over the years.

* Which is not necessarily true of other "royal" declarations, like the Throne Speech with which the Governor-General opens a new session of Parliament in Canada, which is always written by the political party in power.
