It took 40 posts or so before anyone even mentioned the price factor!

Plus here's my two cents:

1. How many 7" tablets are there now versus 10"?

2. Folks like easier portability which was mentioned in many posts.

3. I'd be quite surprised if the figures weren't KF being the main reason as folks like dealing with Amazon and have now have tablet access with Prime Membership to boot and not having to spend lots more dollars for a tablet besides.

4. 7" with an Android tablet is closer in size to their Andriod phones may have at least a little to do with it.
