I believe that's cause due to a change in the system folders of the Kindle. Maybe the folder ".assets" was modified and Amazon no longer recognizes it as its own so it won't download anymore ads. If you're really bothered by that warning, do a Reset to factory defaults and you'll get your ads. If you got books or documents not purchased in Amazon, back them up in your PC.
Nooooooooooooooooo!! *sigh*, thank goodness all of my books are in Calibre. I'll contact Amazon's CS when I get home tonight.
