Hi, I'm looking for a little help, as the Kobo software and website doesn't seem to offer any.

My Kobo WiFi experiences a variety of bugs, such as losing page position, showing incorrect chapter position in the 'Now Reading' section, displaying the wrong book cover when in sleep mode, and most recently, books are completely without words or image on their pages. Yes, it no longer even performs its core function.

I just found out that Kobo has offered some firmware updates since the Kobo WiFi was launched. I never would have known because it seems my device has another bug - it doesn't prompt me for firmware updates.

So here's the situation, my Kobo WiFi says it has firmware version 99.99 r18641 Sep 23 2010. The desktop software has never attempted to update it, nor has connecting the device to wifi. Does anyone know if there's a way to fix this?
