My Samsung Galaxy S smartphone signals that it needs to be recharged at 15% then if I don't plug it in at 10% and again at a number I don't remember because I let that happen only once.
My Kindle got down to 9% today on a test. It shut down and would not let me restart at first (several tries), but being persistent I tried a shut-down by holding in the power button. When I released it it displayed the "Do you want to shut down?" message and I clicked No (or whatever equivalent choice) and it restarted and that's when I discovered that the battery was at 9%. Now, this was with 6.2. I have 6.2.1 now. Maybe this strange low battery behavior is one of the things they fixed.
I've found a couple of improvements in 6.2.1. Clicking a back or forward button works without a lot of multiple taps which would sometimes take be way too far back and it was a real PITA getting back to where I was. I cleaned up my carousel by deleting icons that just cluttered up the screen. I used to have a problem with the keyboard "recognizing" my finger when it was a short distance above a key; based on limited testing that has been fixed.
Has anyone located a list of the fixes/features in 6.2.1?
