It's a knowm problem for fbr that it pretty much ignores styles that are not written in a specific form, if you look around you'll find a whole bunch of complaints about that.

I'd suggest to use a font that's more or less bold by nature like PNM Cecilia. 75/76 is Kindle font, 85/86 might suit you better. I guess there might be a lot more
