Funny, my KSO isn't feeling so special the last few days (or weeks).
And, I do the same as you, so can't fathom someone who would pay fees for a prepaid card (after all, if you can discipline yourself to only spend what you can afford, as a prepaid card requires, you should be able to pay off your normal credit card and avoid fees.

Some us can't get a real credit card.
You have to meet certain requirements. Prepaid cards are the alternative way to go.
