I've had two friends recently get Kindles, and they've both been amazed at how much faster they read. One of my friends read my newest book on her Kindle and she said, "I liked it, but it was way too short. It's like...shorter than The Hobbit or the first Harry Potter novels. I finished it too fast." I had to inform her that my book was actually longer (in terms of word count) than all of those books :-)
