I also think you just got a lemon the first time. I believe the numbers are batch references and not hardware updates. I expect only software adjustments unless a glaring problem comes up. It'll be a year before there are hardware changes, if that. Amazon kept it simple to bring the $200 price point and sometimes you just get a bad part.

Revisions are not your typical 'changes'.
Revisions are often slight adjustments to production hardware in order to reduce issues. It is not uncommon for an electronic device to have multiple revisions.
I'm not saying they are releasing something like a Kindle Fire 1.5 or 2.0.
I'm saying they may be making small changes like the quality of the glass used, or the particular component used for the usb port. Things like that will often qualify as a revision. For me I'm noticing the that USB port on the C0A0 seems to be a bit easier to work with, and the glass has less of a tint to it than the B0A0 that I had prior.
I'm also noticing some very minor speed differences.
