I've complained it to Onyx-USA, phoned Onyx China (long distance call for half an hour!), ranted over Onyx Chinese forum. nothing, nada got solved.

This is actually the last place I'd rant since I'd like to pressure Onyx resellers to inform their bosses that users ain't very satisfied.

If you ever read my threads carefully, you'd notice that for each thread, I had something new to say about, a new bug, a call to their headquater, or a temporary fix for freeze. I don't felt it's right to group all of them together as lots of people tend to skip vital info among replies instead of a separate thread.

btw, 1.6.1 is out, at least Onyx offically announced it for M92 at their Chinese forum.

Nope, I can pretty much live up with the crappy IR button (almost never use it for page navigation), or slow page turning, but what I can't tolerate is the crashing, out of whack response. It did not happened occasionally, for which I certainly would not complain. This thing crashes everyday use, page turning, it crashes, bookmarking, darn, it's gone, pluging the usb cable, the entire book suddenly lost and I have to read again from page 1. It's almost unreadable by my already lowered expectation. Even the shield they've promised me in one of those emails I've exchanged with never materialized, and you were mocking me for not know how to fix a speaker problem? Why would the consumer spend 10ish dollars over a magnetic shield while the manufacturer failed to even ship such a simple fix, despite its promises?!

I apologize for the potty mouth part, and I would shun myself away from the unnecessary profanity. However, there's no way I could improve my grammatical skill, and as far as I've concerned, this isn't a forum about English literacy, right? I've taught a few math/CS courses at my university while I was still in grad school, and none of the students complained about my English skills and pretty certain I've made a heck a lot more mistakes back then.. why can't we focus on the issues instead of some petty language blemishes?
