Goal: To read enough books that my annual page count exceeds 30,000.

Secondary Goals - Less of a scattergun approach to my reading list, finish any series that I start (within reason) tick off a couple of titles from those 'Best books of the 20th Century' 'Must read before you die' type lists. (Specifically, the lists found here https://apps.facebook.com/booklistch...s&fb_bmpos=1_0 )

Counting books in 2011 discouraged me from beginning any really lengthy volumes. I avoided 'doorstop' fantasy like the plague, which was a shame, as its probably my oldest love. So in 2012, its all about the page count!

Reading list will follow, and be updated throughout the year.

And as its New Years Eve I probably wont finish anything else, so thats my lot for this year.
97 books (12 less than last year), 33,320 pages (just 560 less than last year), a 343 page average (a 33 page increase). No ReReads!!!
So I read about the same number of pages as last year, just slightly longer books. My secondary goals started well enough but fell by the wayside sometime about May. Oh well, its just a bit of fun anyway
