I figured it out on my own - first you need to go to the site in MSIE, then you need to copy your cookies from MSIE (and MSIE only, not Mozilla for some reason). The cookie file to look for isn't obvious - it's "username@RET[2].txt" (at least for me). There are four cookies in there - I copied all four of them.
