Nope.
Tech support is suggesting my product is defective and needs to be exchanged. I think the
firmware is defective.
I'm going to try to let the battery drain and see if that gives its butt a solid kick. In the meantime, I've signed out of accounts in case I do have to exchange it. I'm going to contact the vendor and see if they'll exchange it. We're leaving for an extended trip in 3 weeks and I want this settled before we go.
I'll be calling the vendor we bought it from tomorrow and see if they will give me a new one. We're going to the U.S. for a few weeks and I had been hoping to have a Vox with me for the trip.
This ain't doing my recovery any good, I shouldn't be up fussing with this right now. I just wanted to read while recovering from my surgery...
Sorry, James, but I'm thoroughly not impressed with this. I think if I ever do get this thing resurrected, I'll be ignoring future updates.
