Sorry, I don't know how to force ADE to recognize your reader. I opened ADE omy PC and then attached my PRS-950, and it appeared in the lefthand pane. I am relatively certain that the way I registered with Adobe was, when I put Sony's Reader software on my PC, and authorized it, it somehow made me an account with Adobe. Let's see if I can find someone to help us.

I will PM someone who I believe is more knowledgeable than I about ADE. Sorry for the delay, I'm sure it is frustrating. You will love your reader when you are finally able to use it, though.

ETA: I have sent a message to a member who I hope can offer assistance. Since this member is in the US, as am I, and it is getting rather late at night here, there might not be an answer til tomorrow.
