You could be right, but I disagree. A new hardware version, even with minor tweaks, would require weeks (at least 2-3) of testing to make sure there are no regressions. The fire was out some 3 weeks ago, my opinion is that there hasn't been enough time to skew and test a new version. But it is just an opinion.

Agreed. The different numbers are more likely some kind of date code or manufacturing plant code, or perhaps major parts code (but I think this unlikely) unless it's associated with the display which is probably the most expensive part.
