Best Buy (and Frys) are really bad about readers. They don't know one from the other and I seem to recall when I got the 650 a year ago there were none out on display at Frys (Only the 600s at the time. He tried to tell me they were exactly the same when I knew they weren't). I asked the guy if he could open one of the boxes (because 1) I wanted to see the display in action and 2) I wanted to know if my old power cable from the previous reader would work). He had to get his supervisor's permission to open up a box. I had to swear on a stack of bibles practically that I would buy it if I liked it. (I was ready to spend money on it that day). Finally he opened it and it was charged up enough I could see the display. I stared at the guy and said, "You've sold me a reader."

It really shouldn't be that hard to get a blasted ebook reader!
