I have attempted to follow the Windows Explorer route, though I'm not at all sure that what I did was the thing I was supposed to have done - I did a search for the path and no results were offered. So, the first question I have is, was this what you meant, theducks, when you suggested opening the (green) path? You couldn't have known, when you read my post, just how computer-inexperienced a person would be trying to digest your helpful advice. I don't, for instance, understand exactly what 'opening a path' is, or 'navigating around folders', or again, what it means to ' ''Fix file system errors' on the drive'. And if it should come to deleting the books.db file, I wouldn't have a clue about how to go about doing that either. Could you break it down a little for me, please?
