I'd be surprised if any name-brand device let you actually discharge to literal zero.
People are much more likely to shorten the battery life by keeping it pinned at 100% all the time than by fully discharging.

Well I got 0% last night when the battery suddenly drained within hours. It wouldn't do anything it was D.E.A.D. I had to plugged it into the wall charger then do a hard reset for it to come back to life when I check the battery it was 0% when it was 64% just hours ago in sleep mode with no apps running and WiFi off. So I think the battery on the Fire is something to watch closely. There is some bug occurring causing this issue.
