Picasa (now owned by Google), has a feature where you can take a series of photos and turn them into a "stack" of Polaroids. I've used it
to do something like this and it worked well (reload that page a few times to see the effect).
Neat stuff though... after having done this
by hand for years with Gimp. Arg! <grin>
