That happens everywhere. I was chatting with some folks about the Kindles & readers in general at Target. They bought a Kindle Keyboard for their 6 year old on the advice of a CSR. He convinced them that this was the better of all the options & especially the Kindle readers. It's old technology.

In less than 5 minutes I gave them more info than the rep did but they bought it already during Black Friday. They didn't want touch & they didn't like the Nook so I recommended the Kindle 4 non-touch. It was cheaper than the keyboard one & they got a $10 Target card. The hubby was stubborn & wanted to keep what they had but the wife backhanded him in the shoulder. LOL

I don't expect sales people to know stuff about everything they sell but I do expect them to say my knowledge is limited to what I read on the boxes sorry. Mabye suggest they check the stores website for more details etc. But of course they don't do that.
