I had over 3,000 ebooks on an external card on my Nook Classic, and often had problems with the Library program being unable to display all the books, and often, when it did work, it was only after it took hours to perform the rescan. I've never had that problem with the Nook Touch. The Library program shows everything within a minute or so after rebooting. The Nook Classic has one file partition where downloaded books and sideloaded books are located, and in the Nook Touch, it's two separate file partitions, and you can't see the books downloaded from wifi when you connect your Nook Touch to your computer. I don't know how to tell how full the wifi download partition is, either.
