Calibre Author/Title parsing

I installed Calibre yesterday and played around with the Library feature for a bit. All of my ebook titles are in the format

author -- title

Calibre assumes this format:

title - author.

Is there any way to fiddle with Calibre to reverse the parsing assumption so my book titles and authors are correctly presented in the Library? I don't have Python, alas.
