I think the last complete reflash is made with version 2.0.14. I'm not able to do a reflash here on this PC - so reflashing possible in approx. 7 hours. I'll give feedback then.

For now:

- I copied several *.txt files in UTF-8 with diphthongs in file name and file content onto the reader over USB

- restart in save mode:
- filenames and content OK.
- tried to delete more than one file with 'options - delete books' --> just ONE book will be deleted.
- EDIT: Problems with lost notes etc. even in save mode

- restart in PRS+ mode:
- file names corrupted - content OK
- tried to delete more than one file with 'options - delete books' --> just ONE book will be deleted

So - yes, problems with file system persist even in save mode.
I have the suspicion, that issue 248 (glitch in deleting pictures) is solved with updating the firmware with a complete reflash...
