I have to admit that when I first joined MR, I was surprised by how many posters had multiple e-readers listed as their device. I still don't quite get it since you can only read on one e-reader at a time. If I get a new electronic gadget, I usually sell or give away the older one because there isn't a purpose in keeping it. When I brought my iPod Touch, I gave away my nano to my mother, who in turn gave it to my niece.

I have a Sony PRS-350 at the moment. I had a Nook first edition previously and I gave that to my mother so that she could auction it off for charity. I really don't have a need for multiple e-readers. I have to admit that when Sony release the PRS-T1, that I really wanted to buy it. However, when I think about it, there really is no reason to buy the T1. Yes, it has wi-fi but my 350 works just fine and I haven't even had it for a year. IMO, it would be wasteful to buy three e-readers in a year. I kinda thought it was wasteful to buy two but the Sony is a much better reader than the Nook classic and the Nook classic is being sold for a good cause. That helps assail my guilt somewhat but I don't want to consume too much.
