What Bookworm_Girl is alluding to is that the T1 does not work with the old Reader Library. You need the new Reader for PC software, which you can download at:

http://ebookstore.sony.com/download/

If you download it, it should prompt you to import your books/collections/annotations from the old software, the first time you run it. That feature used to be buggy and not import annotations - but it has supposedly been fixed since. Yet, it will 'link' your Reader for PC to the old folders of the Reader Library folders - and will NOT create new copies of your books in the folders used by Reader for PC. Which might be a problem if, later on, you decide to uninstall your old software.

Damn, that was convoluted. It's late, I apologize. Hope it makes sense.
