Hello Forum,

I just got a Kindle touch and I'm basically very happy with it.

However, I'm wondering whether Amazon knows about everything that's on my Kindle or whether that content is private. Most of the books on my Kindle are not from Amazon but put onto the Kindle through calibre. Does Amazon know about these books and, if yes, does this have any implications?
