Hi Everyone. Just registered. Been busy publishing two books this year. The forum has helped me decide which software to use and how to surmount the problems of generating ePub publications and getting them out there. I am a geologist with a passion for photography who enjoys writing. Feel very pleased with my first efforts.
The books were written on a MAC using pages. What I learned from this was that Pages is OK for small projects but when you do large photo books, as I do, it rapidly does not come up to the mark. I then converted my Pages file into ePub and imported it into Sigil. The major issue for me is to maintain image quality. So all my images had to be re-imported into Sigil to maintain quality Finally all is good and out on Amazon and the iBookstore.
Now what to do next?
