Hey guys, I’ve picked up my fiancèe a PRS-T1 for Christmas so she can read Swedish epub books from
http://www.dito.se/. At the moment I’ve got a few books purchased from there in Sony’s Reader software on my work computer, but they don’t want to transfer to the reader device. I’m assuming I need to make the device ‘Authorized’, but whenever I click on the button it drops me back into the Reader software with no further option. The help file says that I should buy a book through the Reader software which will prompt me to log into an Adobe account (?) but I’m loathe to buy more content just to get the books I’ve already purchased working. I’ve updated to the latest Reader software and device firmware. So it boils down to:
1) How can I get my device authorised to sync the books I’ve bought onto it.
2) Is this even a good idea with my work computer? Do I want to be doing this on my home laptop?
3) Would it just be easier to use Calibre and strip the DRM?
I’m a newbie to ebooks, go easy on me
