I'm more interested in flashing it with Android and/or Ubuntu. CM7 for the TouchPad is still glitchy, but the device is a dev darling right now, and there's a good chance we'll see ICS/CM9 take better advantage of the hardware.
In an either/or scenario, I'm probably better off with the Nook Color if only for form factor (reading being my main use), but I would take the extra screen real estate for my comics.
In any case, the funds aren't likely to transfer before the stock runs out, and I can't really budget the expense this time of year unless I could gift it to someone who would really appreciate it and still get presents for everyone else. I don't think either of those would be the case with my remaining list of giftees.
