If you buy any Android tablet, you can install both Nook and Kindle readers on it.
If you prefer an "e-Ink" device to an LCD device and you want to see your books on a 6-inch 4:3 screen, you may want to look at the Nook Touch: it can be rooted and, once rooted, you can put the Amazon Kindle app on it.
