In my experience with odyssey, if there is no SD and connected to PC, if I eject it will reconnect to PC. But if I put SD in slot, it will eject normally. (I am using Win7 X64, and SD is 2 GB).
Also I have followed the instruction for take pictures as screen saver, but it never happened.
