Amazon's DRM is trivial to crack nowadays. I usually convert mine to epub and then read on iBooks (as a matter of fact, I
always convert my purchased books to HTML, in order to fix layout, typos and formatting to suit my tastes).

It only proves that nobody cares enough about Apple's DRM to try to crack it.
Personally, I hope Apple's DRM remains untouched. Therefore fewer people will be tempted to buy from their store
